Hello Mates
Ah, hello my fellow readers. I hope you are all rolling in bountiful treats, toys and lots o' pets from your hoomans.
I have decided that I wish to write my memoirs. I have many, so I should get started soon. As you can see below, I have already sent it off to the publisher for the first printing. I truly look smashing in my portrait.

I shall write about my good pal, Andy Warhol. I helped inspire some of his work. As you can see below, his portrait of me "Terrier in Arms" was quite a hit with the crowd. People pushed into the gallery to see his interpretation of ME, Sam. The piece sold for 75 gazillion dollars and Andy became a household name. It was bought by a private collector who signed a confidentiality agreement that he would not sell my likeness to any ne'er do wells.

I'll also tell everyone the heartwarming story of how I inspired the first graffiti competition. Here is a snapshot of the two chaps who spray painted their way to fame.
Here is my good friend, Victoria or as she's more well known, Posh Spice. We dated briefly, until I had to break her heart. She insisted that I become exclusive. My goodness, how can I not allow other lovely, lovely ladies the chance to be wined and dined by me, Sam. As you can see, she carried a photo of me everywhere, until she met that football player, whatshisname Beckman Blecham, BooBoo. Obviously, just a rebound relationship on her part.... that fellow will never amount to much, you know.

I did leave her with some chocolates. I said, Poshy.. do eat something. You're too thin.

Oh no, the publisher called and wants me to start on my book tour soon. I'll have to start thinking of a sequel to my memoirs. Will write soon.
As always, your faithful terrier,
Sam

Hiya Kids
We were over visiting the Corgi Lounge, sniffing around for a martini or something, when we saw that the girls found a GREAT website. So, we had to try it out, too. Here is what ours looks like

I think Sam talks too much about Mom..... he is the ONLY one who calls her Mother. (He's a mama's boy).

Paws in the Park Day
Hello Pals!
I simply must tell you of the grand time that we had recently. Every year, Mother takes us to Paws in the Park. Oh, we have a wonderful time. It is a day mostly for dogs. For those hoomans who are looking to expand their family, they can adopt a dog or cat. (This is where we first met Avery. Don't forget to vote!)
The day is chocked full of marvelous events. There's a doggie dash, musical mats, talent show, frisbee contest, and many other fab things to do. One of our favorites is FASTEST NOSE. The premise of this event is to find a hot dog amongst all these shoes. Of course, I knew that I would be outstanding in this event, and was delighted when Mother and I went to the gate.
Mother asked the nice gentleman at the gate to allow me to get the scent (like I didn't know what a hot dog smelled like. Sometimes Mother is so simple!) The fellow allowed me a small whiff of the ambrosia, and I got a bit carried away and tried to take a small sample, but he did not oblige. He went through the gate ahead of us and "hid" the morsel in a random shoe.

Here is the form of a hunter stalking his quarry. Notice the form. Head low, eyes keen, feet nimble. Ears alert. A hunter........

The scent becomes more pronounced. Oh, I will find you hot dog treat. Your days are numbered!!

I have zeroed in on the exact footwear. There it is. Yes, I have narrowed the field down. Soon, the succulent hot dog will be MINE!!

Oh, that little scamp hot dog has hopped over into this pile. The gentleman who placed the treat in the shoe was very crafty. He tried to put me "off the scent." Ah ha. I am too wise for this trick. I shall overcome this small diversion.

Ahhh, yes. Here it is. See how my nose is deep into this sneaker!! Aha....

WAIT! WAIT! WAIT! I am TAKING OVER this post. Sam is really telling you a HUGE, BIG FAT TALE. I will tell the true version.

Sam couldn't find his way out of a wet paper bag! He never found the piece of hot dog after a whole minute, sixty whole seconds! Tick Tock, Tick Tock!
In fact, here is the real picture of him. He sniffed around for a little bit, then started sniffing everywhere else! Then... do you know what he did????!!! I was soooo embarrassed. Sigh...... he lifted his LEG in the corner. Once again, mommi had to go and get him because of his inappropriate bathroom habits.

I am part beagle. The nice man let me sniff the hot dog treat and I knew exactly what I was looking for. I followed the nice man's footsteps by following his scent. I have great beagle form.

Oh boy, I know that hot dog is here. I can really smell it good now!

Ta Daaa. Here it is. Let's see... what was my TIME, Sammy??!! 5.6 seconds?????

Oh, and here is the little piece of hot dog that Sammy couldn't find. BOL. BOL. More for me!

Oh, and by the way, Sammy would never tell you this, but I had the best time on the Fastest Nose event. BOL.

Lately.......
Hi Everydoggie bloggier,
Again, we have been absent from blogging and visiting too many of our buddies blogs. Not only has Mom been busy and hasn't let us blog, but Blogger has been very unfriendly to us! We try to post, and it stalls.... we try to visit sites and the pages don't load. So, anyway.... enough of our troubles with the Internet!
As you all know, last week was Zorra's barkday. Well, Mom made a cake for her. She said that we would have a pawty after she and Sam came back from Rally class. When Mom returned she went to the cake and found this.......

Two pieces were missing. Luckily, she didn't think that Zorra and I had gotten into it early! Whew, huh. We get in trouble enough! After a little thinking, Mom came to the conclusion that Grandpa had swiped a couple pieces, not realizing it was Zorra's barkday cake! We never told him because we wouldn't want him to feel bad. We just wonder what he thought of a pup-friendly cake! BOL. You know what, he sorta liked it.
Well, we LOVED it. Mom didn't get to write on it or nothing, but we all sang Happy Barkday and wished Zorra many more. Then, we all gobbled it up. Boy, it was good. Now we know why Grandpa took some!

New, Favorite Game
Hello everyone,
Yesterday was a rather boring day, yet again. We had to stay in since it would NOT stop raining and raining.
In fact, we were bored out of our minds and where looking for trouble. But, our Auntie came in and said "Who wants to walk on my back?!" We weren't quite sure what she meant, but when she laid down on the floor, we all went to investigate. WE were not sure what was going on, because Auntie never, ever gets on the floor with us.
Katie and Zorra went over to sniff her and took it as an oppotunity to give her tons of kisses. I certainly thought that she wanted to play fetch. I kept bringing her toys to throw.
Then, I decided that a fun game would be to jump over Auntie from side to side. I did that for a few jumps, and then I thought to myself "What would be even more fun?" Using Auntie as a launching pad. Oh, that was fun. I picked up my toy and jumped from one side of Auntie to the other, always landing right in the middle of her back. Mother started laughing so hard there were tears rolling down her cheeks. I was trying to get in on the joke, but I was too busy trying to help Auntie play our new favorite game.
Soon, she was screaming, "ENOUGH, ENOUGH." I naturally assumed she wanted me to continue, so I went faster and faster. I had a grand time, and I was sure that Auntie was too.
Then, very quickly, Auntie grabbed my toy and threw it across the room. I, naturally, went to fetch it back, but by the time I returned Auntie was no longer lying on the floor eager to play our favorite game.
Auntie is quite the party pooper.
