Hi bloggies!

Wow, my mom got some mail today, and it was photos from a recent trial. They were all of ME.


You know, I just love a good tunnel. My mom has a bunch of photos of me coming out of the tunnel. That is because I am always smiling. I LOVE tunnels. I love agility. But, I like doing it MY way.


Here's an action shot of me going over a jump. This is called "slicing" because I am going at an angle. I was doing a serpentine, which is a 3 jump series or so, and you go through them like a snake. I LOVE serpentines.

Here I am going on the tetter totter. Don't let my serious look trick you. I love the teeter. See, my tail is wagging. I was just trying to decide if I was going to run off the end or not, and give my mom a heartattack. BOL. I like to hear it BOOM on the end. It makes me BOL.

Tomorrow, me and Mom are trying something new - Rally O. We have never competed in that before. It is like obedience, but a ton more fun. We'll let you know how it goes!

Quick Shout Out

Hi everydog...

Just a quick shout out to our pals. We think our mother will actually let us view our pals' blogs again, since her work has lessened. So, have no fear, we will soon be conversing on everydog's blogs again.

Blue told our mother about a new photo meme. (They are MAD about posting photos. They do it all the time). They now do photo memes 4 times a week. When does that leave time for us???

At any rate, you dogs might like this as well. It is called Camera Critters and it happens every Sunday. Go here to view. Our mother put some rather unflattering portraits of us on her blog. We are not happy about those photos and will plot on how to embarrass her later.

Those raccoons on the host blog remind me of Mr. Rat!! I want to definitely meet them. Katherine said she would go, as well. She really wants to meet them too.

Tuesday schmoozeday

Hi everybody,

We are bored. Our mom has been working hard again, or going out in the evening and we have nothing to do. We don't even have any agility trials. WHAT is up with that?? WE have just been hanging around. So, we are going to wait until mommi hits the sack and then go and catch up on our buddies.

Lately, we have been discussing if Sam needs to go to the spaw for a cut. Since his last experience was not so good, mommi has been putting it off, and trimming him up herself. Well, that has to stop. His fur is getting a little too long, now. Of course, Sammie thinks it is just right....



It was our cuzin Cal's barkday today and mommi forgot to make him a cake. So, she said that she would make him one this week so he can have a big old piece of cake. He is looking forward to it, cuz he loooves cake. We will need to plan his pawty and what he's going to get for his barkday. He is now 2 years old.



Mommi has been playing on her blog again today. That makes us so mad. She likes to post photos all the time. You can go over and look at ABC Wednesday that she likes to play here.

Floppy Friday

Our mother was working hard today, but not enough... She stopped in the middle of the day for a quick photo shoot with only Katherine. NOT FAIR, I say. I am more photogenic that she!!!



This was a nice photograph of my sister, but I will never tell her!!! I will just have to wait for my very own photo shoot!

Hoppy Easter

I like being corny by wishing everyone Hoppy Easter. We had a photo shoot today...........

I love dressing up and modeling for Mom. I think it is great!



Sammie likes to dress up, too. He was asking for pointers. Unbelievably the bunny ears were a bit too big for his fat head and he needed assistance in keeping them on.





He finally got a shot he liked.



Zorra DOES NOT like to dress up or model. She did not have nearly as much fun as we did. She was also not amused that our Cousin Cal chewed up one of the cushions on our couch in our room. I just said.. Don't worry be hoppy! BOL. I crack myself up.

Rain and Drama

Oh brother, we are having some drama right now. It has been raining all day and Sammie is just SURE it is going to storm really bad. He is getting himself all worked up over it and is pleading with mommi to build us some sort of a bomb shelter... underground.. right now. She tried to explain to him that it wasn't something that we could go build at night, in the rain. He wasn't really taking "NO" for an answer. He kept going back and forth, trying to find his own personal bomb shelter, but none seemed safe.

He really started pleading with her and giving her the sad, sad eyes. But, mommi was pretty firm. She said we would have to dig a HUGE hole in the yard, much bigger than any we already had started construction on. And, all of us would have to fit, not just mommi and Sammie. (Sammie was trying to ditch us!!) So, Sammie continued trying to find the perfect place to hide. He got under the desk for a while when mommi was working, but she did not like that AT ALL. She kept accidentally kicking him while she was working. Of course, Sammie was telling her that we should all take cover.

THAT is when mommi lost her cool exterior. She told Sammie to go to weather.com and look at the radar.



We live where the big, red dot is on the map. We aren't even in the storm box near to bottom of the radar, but that didn't calm Sammie down at all. It really just made it worse. He's gone to hide in the closet, in the back, and dig a bomb shelter out through there.

Meanwhile, Katie and I are gonna catch some shut-eye......

Dusting out the cobwebs

Hello everyone,

Our mother has hogged the computer for DAYs! Even to go sooo far as to post photos on her own blog for ABC Wednesday, when we had NOT posted in eons. I immediately advised her that this was totally inappropriate behavior!



That is a photo of Zorra and I pouting on the sofa.

Katherine, Zorra, and I all had an CPE agility trial this past weekend. Everyone did very well. Katie and Zorra received qualifying runs toward those silly titles. And, as you know, I prefer the more "nomadic approach" to agility. I ran and ran and ran. My mother didn't find it as fun as I did, and mostly just stood in the middle of the course next to the judge. Other people thought I was rather humorous and laughed at my antics.

By Sunday afternoon, I was getting quite tired and just decided to give my mother a little present and I ALMOST completed the course. Even the judge said I was getting better. To that, my mother laughed and carried me off the course. I delight in making my fans happy. BOL. Mother hasn't forgotten about posting videos to the site. She just hasn't had time to figure it out.

We have been looking at our friends' blogs, and noticed that we needed to make something creative. Our mother has made many things to see in stores, online, and even when she, too, was nomadic and traveled to do arts and crafts shows. We'll post a few over the coming days.

This is one of our personal favorites, especially Zorra. She loves a good mat/blanket to snuggle on.

Rapping up some bizziness and a blatant request

Asta up over tagged us for this fun reveal. We had to think about it for a while, but we finally came up with some good answers.....

What three things would you do that you have never done before, if you knew you wouldn't get caught, get in trouble, or suffer any consequences.

1. Katie - I would go everywhere with Mom, including all stores, houses, just to see what she does when she's not with me (especially restaurants so I could get all that good food!!)

2. Zorra - I would get on Mommi's desk while she is working so I could be extra close to her so she could pet me whenever she wants.

3. Sam - Oh, I would take over the world. Things would run more more effectively if I were in charge!!!!

Rather Uneventful day

I am blogging again because I am still mad at Mother, as she has ignored us again today. She has been cooking all day for no apparent reason but to stuff her own face. It is almost as IF she were trying to make us very mad.

But, she did take us for a a nice walk this morning. We were walking through the field behind our house. (Mother took some exercise for a change and I guess she feels like she can eat now.)



We had a rather long walk, and it was quite fun. We kept playing mind games with Mother, as you can see. We would all pretend we were looking at something and when Mother would notice there was really nothing there, even though we were intent on something in the distance. Oh, how we love to trick her.

While she was cooking, we confiscated her phone and found a few photos on it that we had not seen before. HMMMMM....

Here is a picture of Peyton Manning in a Santa hat? What is up with that? Peyton looks sort of plastic. Also, what is up with that beard! Peyton, buddy, shave that beard before the playoffs, dude. Better be sharp, or I'll have to come and horseshoe ya.



Even though Mother was gone for quite some time on Thursday, we do NOT think she had time to go visit Jackson nor do we think this is our pal Blue's Scarlett (we are going on memory here, but we think that was her car's name). I mean, we are in the middle of Indiana here. Where did THIS car come from?



Perhaps, we will get to go on one of her adventures tomorrow!

Uh oh

We are so tired....... We helped mommie with the Christmas kards tonight. She said sins we signed up to send Christmas kards to the doggies in bloggie land, that we had to do the work. WHEW! We did about 10 kards, and had to go lie down for a while. Mommie said at this rate we will NEVER get them finished....

We have a lot of things to do, like get ready for Asta's pawty. I told Sammie that he better be on his best behavyer, or else! I asked mommie what she was going to do while we was gone. She said she was going to go to a rest-aw-rawnt. She went to one of those last week, wifout us. And, this is what we found on her cellphone. Katie was NOT happy wif mommie for hafin fun wifout us!



I am so tired, that I am going to go back to sleep before mommie finds out I am on the 'puter. She will make me work on more Christms kards!

Winter has arrived

Winter's finally arrived here in Indiana. For the past few mornings, it's been quite nippy outside when I take my morning constitutional. Zorra became quite alarmed when she saw her breath in the cold morning air. The poor girl actually jumped back from her breath which continue to follow her through the yard. Unfortunately, I was unable to capture this moment with the camera.

Today, my mother decided it was time for a Christmas photo shoot. This torture went on for several minutes in three separate sessions. My mother did not seem happy that my sisters and I were not cooperating with her. It was obvious, that we do not want to have a photo shoot today. We had planned other things for our daily agenda. Dressing up in ridiculous Christmas garb was not on our approved agenda. Katherine, Zorra, and I normally meet every morning to discuss our daily events. After reviewing the agenda, we were certain that a photo shoot had not been approved.

Mother said that the photo below looked as though we had just been advised that there were no more treats left in the entire world.






This can't be true! I decided I must go see. When I jump down, my mother's face turned a bright shade of red and she just walked away. She was mumbling something about may be getting a deal on three intensive obedience classes... maybe she's signing up to take an obedience class for herself.



Once she walked away, we were free to continue with our plans. I am at least 30 minutes behind in my slumber time.

Yawn... yawn...

Recovery

Hi Everybloggie,

We have been pretty busy and haven't had too much time to blog lately. But, we're gonna try real hard 2day.

I wuz surfin' the internet and 'membered I hadn't told you guys about the agility trial that I went to wif just my mommie.

It was a lot of fun, just us. And, I did really good, too. We went last Sunday and I had three runs that day. There wuz a fotographer there and he took some piktures that my mommie is gonna get cuz she thinks that they are cute.

Here is me on the teeter totter. It is ssssssssssssssoooo skeery. I like to just stand in the middle and watch my mommie try to get me to come to her. I am always thinkin' of jumping off, but I try not to. You can see that I made it all the way down.



This is me comin' out of the tunnel. I love the tunnel and I wuz thinkin' of barkin' at my mommie on this one. I wuz havin' a good time. One thing about runnin' in 'gility, is you have to run.........
(nakid). I didn't have no collar on, or nuffin'. Makes me feel weird.


Here I am comin' off the dogwalk. We are up a little high, but I like it.



I got 3 red 2nd place ribbons and 3 qualifying scores for my runs. We were happy. We were runnin' in CPE (Canine Performance Events), and I finished up my very first title. My mom wuz real prowd of me. Katie already has titles, but this wuz my first one. Sammie is close to getting his first title too. Sammie and I are going to a 'gility trial next Sunday, and maybe he will finish his. Since Katie is takin' a break for a few weeks from 'gility, she isn't gonna go. So, she will be mad. But, don't worry. She is gonna do 'gility again starting early next year.

We wuz there wif two of our 'gility friends, Suzi and Rory. Suzi is from New Orleans, but came to Indiana after that big hurricane. She does a lot of 'gility. Her brother is Rory, and he has a lot of titles in 'gility and obedience (whateber that is. I asked Katie to splain it to me, but she said that we aren't obedient most days and not to worry). He is a greyhound. They both are rescues, just like us. Rory hadn't been feelin' too good and he had to go to the doctor and haf tests done like Jackson. In fact, they had a lot of the same tests done. Rory really had a lot of shaved parts, but he's feeling a lot better too. He said that he hopes he gets to feelin' a lot better cuz he wants to do 'gility again, too. He was just at the 'gility trial to be with his mommie and sister.

I had a pretty full day that day, and can't wait until next Sunday to do another one!

Funny Fotos

These are a couple of funny photos of us that mom took with her cellphone, since we grounded her from her camera. We also grounded her from talking on her cellphone, but she was sneaky and used her cellphone as a camera! We didn't think of that angle.














Then, we confiscated her phone and found this video of Sam. She musta took it when they went to the enchanted trial, as Sam calls it. Oh boy, what's the use of groundin' someone when they don't follow the rules. Now, we know how MOM feels. So, we decided that Mom doesn't have to be grounded anymore. (But, we're not giving back the camera).

We went over to our human pal Blue's Blog and she had several aristocratic titles. Of course, I wanted to know what ours were....
