Trip from h-e-double toothpicks

Hi everyone - Zorra here.  I know we have been MIA for a while.  Our mom wouldn't let us use the computer, and we haven't been too happy about that.

I confiscated it tonight while mom is sleeping.  My story needs to get out!  My mom and some of my aunties (not my real auntie, she stayed home with Katie and Sam) traveled together to Florida.  Before I knew it, I was in the tail end of a van! That's Yippee in the middle and Dixie on the far left.We were stuck in there from Indiana all the way to Kissimmee, FL!  If only my mom hadn't taken away my cellphone before we left, I would have been calling someone to save me.  They kept saying we were going to an agility trial.. yea, I bet.

It was horrible, being in that crate.  I let my mom know it, too.  I made a voodoo doll of her while I was in my incarceration.  Luckily, she hasn't found it yet.  I am actually lying on it here.  She just doesn't know what I am going to do to her later.....

Not only was I forced to ride in the crate, my mom made me pose in front of stupid things....

She even made Auntie Debbie pose with Dixie and Duffy!  There's no end to her madness!

She made me sit in front of this bull statue.  Obviously, mom didn't even notice what is above my head, which is why I look extremely upset!

I thought this look was my best... I was giving her the evil eye.

But, alas, nothing I did could change my mom's mind........  She kept putting me in the back of the van and she and my aunties carted us all over the place.  I will plot my revenge... some how, some way.  Be on the lookout, for I am Z!

Hurrah!!

Hurray! My mother is finally home from her trip to Maui. I only had time to take a quick photo of myself, but AUNTIE tried get in the shot with me... ignore her.

Auntie and I have had our difference during Mother's absence. Auntie was rather rude the other day and attempted to make me go outside ALONE to do my business. Well, I had just about enough of her nonsensical rules, so I decided to have some fun.

When she finally said I could come in, I started limping and holding my paw up in the air. Auntie grew concerned and kept searching for the reason for my injury. Of course, there was nothing wrong, but I managed one single tear to roll out of my eye. With that, Auntie immediately called Mother. I was positive that this escapade would bring Mother home ASAP. I heard Auntie tell Mother that I was injured, but she couldn't find what was wrong. My paw wasn't bleeding (I neglected to add the appropriate ketchup stain to my fur), and that I was holding it up in the air.

Then, I heard Auntie say "You must talk to him." And... MOTHER was on the phone with me. My plan worked!! Mother said she was returning home the NEXT day. Hurray!! Of course, I immediately told Katherine and Zorra the wonderful news. We all were excited!

And, true to her word, Mother DID return the next day. Although, all she wants to do is sleep. Something about jet lag??

AMUCK

Hello bloggerdoggers,

Well, things are AMUCK around here. Our mother escaped and has gone missing. She hopped on a plane and is with one of her friends in Maui, Hawaii.

She sent us this photo this morning with some sort of an apology for leaving us for so long. She is not returning for several days!

She has left us alone with Auntie. Oh, I am sure it will not be had to overthrow Auntie's regime. It is rather loose. However, it will take proper planning and cunnint on our part.

After Pawty

Whew... we just flew in and man, did we have a GREAT time!!!

After we left the pawty, we decided to go do some site seeing. Unfortunately, we let Sam drive....

Here we are flying out of Dreamingspires.....

WATCHOUT!! Sam almost took out the spire!!! I think he had one too many with the boys!! We decided that we had enough time to take a quick tour of London before we had to head home. We have agility class on Monday, and Mom will NOT be happy if we miss.

Step on it SAM!

OH no.... Sam can't read very well, and we landed right on top of Big Ben!! Yikes. Way to go, Idiot boy. WEll, this looks like a good parking space, so let's grab a bus and see the sites from below.

So, we went and got on the doubledecker bus! WE loved seeing the sites of London!!

We were just getting ready to find Jackson, Eric, and Ben the Rottie, (and Nana England, Father Unit's mum) but we saw some commotion around the VW. I guess they didn't think it was a good idea to park it up there. Anway, we snuck up there and took off. BUt, this fellow kept following us... we thought we were going to get thrown in the Tower of London for sure!!!

I think we took a wrong turn, because we ended up in Paddington Station. Sam really needs to learn how to read the GPS unit. He won't let us help, because HE wants to drive. You know how terriers can be.

Anyway, it was getting late and we had to get home, so we will stop by our pals next time. It was already getting dark. We said good-bye to London, Dreamingspires, and had great memories of the Pawty and all our pals.

We sure hope we get invited again, sometime. Meanwhile, I am making Sam take a crash course in GPS reading!!!

Water Torture!!! Call 9-1-1!!

After a rousing afternoon of digging for every rodent and/or finding numerous treasures in the backyard, my mother bade me to come in. She said we were going to the pet shop. OH JOY! Perhaps I can persuade her to purchase a new toy. Better yet, Katherine and Zorra were NOT going with us. Hurrah!!

Oh, I had visions of new balls and tug toys, perhaps some completely NEW chew toy that I had not yet become acquainted with. I was shivering with anticipation when we pulled up to the store.

Mother walked briskly up to the cashier, and I heard the words come out of her mouth, but it was as if they were in slow motion.. ... D - 0 - G W-A S H please.

NOOOOO.

The next thing I realized, I was in the washtub. Perhaps if I look cute and smile, she will be so striken with remorse over what she is planning to do that she will let me down... I am smiling, Mother. See??

Oh dear, she doesn't seem to get my point. I will just try to escape on my own. Get out of the way woman!! I am making a break for it. DRAT that leash holding me here.

I have worked up my best pitiful look. Oh Mother, how could you torture me so? What did I do to deserve this??!! Katherine put you up to this, didn't she? Or, Auntie. Is she still upset over that unfortunate pants pocket incident?? I'm so very sorry.

Oh great, now she's scrubbing where I had stashed extra mud to ensure my fur retained that wiry texture that WFT are known for. Just great.. I will have to give myself another treatment later. All that hard work......

MOTHER!! YOU GOT SOAP IN MY EYES!!!!! Oh, this has turned into sheer torture. I obviously must assist myself, since she is so stooooopid as to see there is SOAP IN MY EYES.

I will kill you in your sleep. That is what I am thinking now, but yet, Mother, you laugh?

Ahhhhhh, a nice towel. I love the towel. That means our time here is coming to a close.

Here is my impersonation of a prize fighter. I float like a butterfly and sting like a bee.

Oh Mother, I am sorry for those dreadful things I said. You are right, I do feel much better.. Now, where's my ###$$# treat??!!

Visit to Amber, Chloe and Faith's house

Hi Everydoggie,

Sorry we haven't posted, but we have been on a journey over to Amber, Chloe, and Faith's house. Amber has invited us several times, and with Zorra tricking out Sam's VW, we knew that we had to visit those girls right away. We also wanted to congratulate Chloe in person for becoming Miss K9 Malaysia Champion 2008!

First, we had to plan the trip and load it up in the GPS unit. It gave us a path to follow, and it looked like this.

Zorra is one smart cookie. She figured out how to power the VW with a solar fuel cell and using hydrogen, so we didn't have to purchase any petrol, or emit any pollution into the air, (other than Sam's natural odors Peeeeeeee UUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!)

So, Sam found that Zorra also installed an autopilot, so we could rest on the long trip.

Amber didn't know we were coming so soon, and we sort of scared them when we pulled up outside where they live. Amber came to meet us dressed like this:

Whew!! Good thing that Chloe and Faith recognized us right off! We would have been clobbered over the head!!

I am not sure the girls knew what to think of Sam. He can get a little out of control sometimes. It looks like they are ready to gang up on him. BOL.

We posed with Amber and Chloe behind all their trophies. We hope that we will have some one day. IT was very nice of them to share with us.

Sam took everyone for a ride in the VW and they all had a great time. We can't wait to see them again at the Super Bowl Party!

Test Drive

Hi Everybloggie,

We are going to take a roadtrip in the modified VW. I had a lot of fun making it. And, there are a lot of surpises that Katie and Sam don't even know about. Anyway, now we can just go anywhere we want to.

I did a lot of work to the inside too. Here we are just chillin'. We can sit here and watch tv or movies, snack and drink pawtinis.

I was really tired and just fell asleep on those nice, leather seats.

I have installed a GPS unit on the VW, so we will be able to find anything that we want. I cannot wait to go to our first destination.

STAIN MECCA

I hopped on the plane to AZ to visit Joe Stains and Tanner. At this point, only Joe Stains can help me with my problem.

The Stain Mecca was easy to find.....I just went to Arizona and asked every dog I met "Do you know where the Stain Mecca is?" Yea, go see Joe Stains. He can help you.

So off I went, and would you know I found his house right away. I knocked on the door, as I was uncertain how to approach the such a sacred site. And, Tanner said he would have to go see if Joe Stains was available.

I got a bit nervous when Tanner went into the sacred sleeping bag. I heard some grumbling and HBO words, and I thought for certain that I would make a stain in the STAIN MECCA. After a while, out came Minister Stains......

Minister Stains said that he could absolve me of any stains that may or MAY NOT (most likely) have been caused by me. And, not only that, with his power it also absovled me of any FUTURE stains. WHEW. This trip has been worth it.

Minister Stains started his procedure to help me out.....

I started to feel a bit dizzy and felt I was traveling through time.....

But, once I came back to my senses..... I knew that all stains that I had been admonished for were gone!

Ahh, I felt so much lighter. I also asked him to use another power of his that my Mother will forget that she is upset with me for leaving. No problem, he said. Poof... He said your mom won't even remember you EVER made a STAIN.

My problems were solved. So, I hung around with Joe Stains and Tanner and watched the Colts get whopped. :( But, you can't have everything when you just got a pardon from all the stains in your life.

Then, I remembered!! I had to get my a@@ on home, as I have an agility trial!! Oh, I hope Joe Stains is right and my Mother has forgiven me. After all, I am really cute when I want to be!! I ran off yelling thanks again to catch the next plane home. I think I can make it to the trial in time!!

Boston and the NE

Whew....

I am still on a whirlwind tour trying to find the Stain Mecca. My trip took me to Boston to visit Archie and Agatha. They know about stains. We started digging for the Stain Mecca.....

Then, all of the sudden, Agatha bopped both Archie and me on the head and said... the STAIN MECCA is NOT in Boston! You need to go see Joe Stains, silly.

And, here is my response....

So, it is set. I must go see Joe Stains. But, while I am in the Northeast, I should visit some of my friends here. Agatha, Archie and I all hopped into the VW and went to go see Maggie and Mitch.

We had a terrier tea party and it was so much fun. I was so glad to put the bark to the faces, as they say. We played and sniffed until wee morning hours. But, unfortunately, we had to call it an evening and I took Agatha and Archie back to Boston. I needed to plan my trip. I decided that I should just fly to Joe Stains house at this point. So, off to NYC, I headed. I could just get a round trip ticket and come back for the VW later.

On the way to NYC, I thought that I should just stop in and visit Asta. I stopped at the Statue of Liberty, which was quite exciting for me.

I met some nice people on the subway.....

I was walking down Asta's street, and there she was waiting on me...

It was so nice to meet Asta and she showed me around her neighborhood. We had a lot of fun window shopping, reading pee mail, sniffing. But, my plan to the Stain Mecca was leaving soon and I had to hurry to JFK.

I cannot believe what good friends I have made and how nice they all have been on my journey. Now, off to the plane....

Zorra's turn

Hi everybloggie,

I wanted to blog for a while today. we had some things to take care of, and I wanted to show you a photo of one of our bestest buddies here in Indiana.

This is Rocky and he was dressed up real good for the Flyball party the other day. Don't he look just sooo very hammysome? Rocky always has a big smile on his face and is always happy to see everybody, even when Katie barks at him when he gets too close to her.

Our great buddy Marvin gave us this Best Friends award. We are so very, very honeredered by this. We have made so many great friends here in such a short time that we just cannot believe how lucky we are. We would like to pass this award on to Clover because we just think she is the cutest and we always smile when we go to her blog.

Blue gave us the following award. It's to be awarded to 'people whose blog brings you happiness & inspiration and makes you feel happy about Blogland' Once again, that is everyone. But, after we thought and thought, want to give it to everyone. But, we decided who we should acknowledge with this award. We would like to give it to Amber, A and A, and our very first friend on bloggerland, Jackson

On an additional topick. We received a peemail from the Bark A Lot boyz. It seems that that old egret never made it back to Florida after Sammie caught it. Sammie trusted that old bird to go back on his own, by putting that bow around his beak and the sign on his back. Katie and I think that old bird gave Sam the slip. So, WE are going to go look for that sneaky bird! After all, WFTs are not known for their bird-dogginess. They chase varmits. Katie is a bird dog and I am a beagle/foxhound. I can sniff out anything.

Here we are ready to get started. Katie is visualizing that egret in her mind. I am just ready to get started!

Katie and I traveled down to start the search near Tennessee. We have contacts down there who spotted that wayward egret. Katie has sniffed out a spot where that egret landed to take a break....

I am sniffing around and I am definitely on that egret's trail. We have to help out Jake and J.H. get their fish payment back and they need a ride to the Super puppy bowl party!!

We are on the job.... Katie, drive that way. I think we are hot on that egret's trail!!!

My trip continued

Lorenza and I have had a great time. She has shown me so many sites in Mexico, and I have had a little too much fun from drinking margaritas! After exploring Mexico, I did not find the Stain Mecca. I feel that I have gone further away from it. I think I had better head back to the States. I snapped this photo of Sweet Lorenza before I left. I was so sad to leave, and I offered her an invitation to come stay with my sisters and me any time she wished.

I hopped back into the VW and noticed that I had a message on my cellphone from my mother. She was wondering where I had went off to, and I had better call home soon.

I started the VW north back to the States. I was listening to my IPOD and not really paying much attention before I realized that I was at Four Corners. This is where Arizona, Colorado, Utah and New Mexico all join together. I had a lot of fun standing with each paw in a different state. I enjoyed speaking with the Native Americans there and I did some meditation along some of the mesas. I was sure that I was EXTREMELY close to the Stain Mecca, and was trying to feel which way to go.

I got back into the VW and followed my instincts......

Before I knew it, I was in Louisiana! So, I stopped by to catch up with Peanut and Flash. They took me for a ride in their truck and here we are getting out for some ice cream! We had a grand time chasing each other in their yard, chasing their kitty family and playing with their humans. Unfortunately, I remembered that I was supposed to be looking for the Stain Mecca. Darn it all, I had to leave.

I realized that Nascar season is starting next month! I wanted to go to the World Headquarters of Nascar, so I headed for North Carolina. Then, I remembered that my little friendzee Lacy Lulu lived there and I found her house right away. I enjoyed hanging out with her and we had a lot of fun sitting in her yard and talking.

Now, I feel that I am really far away from the Stain Mecca. I need som advice. I know where I shall stop next. I'll go check out A & A. They know about stains. So, it is off to Boston! Hang on. I am pushing the pedal to the metal!
