Hello Everyone!
Ah, I am back home again and thanks to Minister of Stains, my mother has forgotten about my previous stains. Also, she doesn't even seem to remember that I was missing for a few days. Of course, I will have to retrieve the VW at some point, as it is parked near JFK and we are in Indiana.
Nevertheless, I arrived back at home just in time for the agility trial. There was a photographer there this weekend, and he managed to get a few photos of us. Unfortunately, our video camera has decided not to cooperate and we were not able to get any video at this time.
Zorra did a marvelous job taking first place in every one of her runs on Saturday. Here is a snap of her that the photographer put together as a special photo from Mother. Zorra is always VERY determined. All I can say is that photographer took these photos very fast.

Here I am climbing the A-Frame. Oh, how I do love to be up higher than everyone else so I can look down on them. It is so enjoyable.

Katie did very well this weekend, too. She took first place a couple of times and was very excited to get back into agility after a brief sabbatical. Mother loved this photo of her coming out of the tunnel. She ran so fast in the tunnels that she banked off the site like a Nascar. (BTW, Nascar season starts next month).

Even though Mother was no longer upset with my stains, it appears that I was rather "distracted" when I was running. After all, I can plot much better courses than my mother. She's a bit daft. I had a lot, and I mean A LOT of fun running around doing my own thing.
Everyone seemingly was amazed when I ran. (
Katie editing here: They were LAUGHING because he was running around like an idiot!!) I was so happy to bring joy to all those dog/human teams. In fact, one lady came up to shake my mother's hand and said something about "having courage to run a WFT." I am not sure what that meant, as I should have been congratulated for putting up with my Mother!
At some point, my Mother MUST have forgotten the rules of the game, as she left my leash and collar on while we ran! She didn't do this for Katie and Zorra, so I know it was a mistake!

Once my mother dropped the leash when I went through the tire or the tunnel, I avoided her at all costs and ran, again, a much better course. But, the "judge" (and I use that term loosely, as how can anyone even possibly judge how well I am running) would step on my leash as I zoomed by. Then, the lady would say "Oh, I understand WFTs and how you think." And, my mother would run up right after and pick me up and take me off the course with my leash dragging. I was secretly hoping that she would trip on the leash and I could run around again. These people just don't understand my vision of agility!! They shouldn't fight it, as I will win. I will get to run how I want to run and not be boxed in by their limited imaginations!!
