Bored days

What do you want to do today, Zorra? Beat up Sam? Tear up the couch some more, field dress a few stuffies?

I know, let's play bitey face. That's always fun. But, don't bite aunties toesies, or she will yell!

For fun, I am also going to bite Mr. Moon. What fun!!

I want Mr. Moon, Katie. My turn!

Listen, Katie... I said Mr. Moon is MINE!

I am going to get Mr. Moon back if its the last thing I do!!

OH my goodness. I have let the wiles of Mr. Moon take over me. I am getting out of control.

That's right, Zorra. Let's leave Mr. Moon alone for a while and just hang out together....

Bitey face.. bitey face.. our favorite game....

Ah... my plan worked splendidly.. Mr. Moon is MINE at last!!

AT LAST!!!

HELLO FRIENDS!!!!!

At last, my mother has finally left her computer and I can blog. We still have to transfer some photos and get a network going so we can use the other computer, as well. But, we are back.

For now, we will just use some old photos that we had uploaded before. Of course, what would a post be without MY photo?

I do not know what my mother's problem is with this new Mac Laptop. As for myself, I love it. It's portable, I can go anywhere with out that fat cow Katherine constantly looking over my shoulder and I can blog in PEACE.

However, sometimes I get too much peace and relax too much.

Ahhhhh... I am visiting dreamland and my favorite thing...

The weekend

Hi everbloggie,

This weekend, we didn't have anything planned, and I was bored. I woke up on Saturday and thought "Hey, what am I going to do today?"

B-O-R-E-D

I decided that I would squeek on my toy a bit.

Then, I would squeek it some more.

Ruthie was getting annoyed at the noise.

Zorra was sitting on Auntie's lap, and telling her that my squeeking was annoying.

But, then Zorra saw how much fun I was having and wanted to join in.

Sam wanted to join in.

I guess I wasn't so bored after all.

Dusting out the cobwebs

Hello everyone,

Our mother has hogged the computer for DAYs! Even to go sooo far as to post photos on her own blog for ABC Wednesday, when we had NOT posted in eons. I immediately advised her that this was totally inappropriate behavior!

That is a photo of Zorra and I pouting on the sofa.

Katherine, Zorra, and I all had an CPE agility trial this past weekend. Everyone did very well. Katie and Zorra received qualifying runs toward those silly titles. And, as you know, I prefer the more "nomadic approach" to agility. I ran and ran and ran. My mother didn't find it as fun as I did, and mostly just stood in the middle of the course next to the judge. Other people thought I was rather humorous and laughed at my antics.

By Sunday afternoon, I was getting quite tired and just decided to give my mother a little present and I ALMOST completed the course. Even the judge said I was getting better. To that, my mother laughed and carried me off the course. I delight in making my fans happy. BOL. Mother hasn't forgotten about posting videos to the site. She just hasn't had time to figure it out.

We have been looking at our friends' blogs, and noticed that we needed to make something creative. Our mother has made many things to see in stores, online, and even when she, too, was nomadic and traveled to do arts and crafts shows. We'll post a few over the coming days.

This is one of our personal favorites, especially Zorra. She loves a good mat/blanket to snuggle on.

Some of our pals

Hi everybody...

I wanted to introduce you to some of our pals that we do agility with on the weekends. NOt only that, we also take the same agility classes together, so we hang out with our pals a bunch. My mom still hasn't figured out how to upload the video from that cheap (hbo word) video camera (she hopes she can get the good one fixed), so it will be a couple more days before you can see that.

Here I am in my crate. I hate my crate, but we have to stay in them at trials to keep us all safe from pups that may be a bit rude. I have my favorite blankie and a couple of toys. You can see my Qualifying ribbon hanging on my crate. I was very proud of myself.

Here is Bandit. He is a Sheltie. You can't see it but, he's got a bunch of toys in his crate. He's much smaller than I am, which is why his crate is different. I think he was sleepin when we took this photo. Bandit is a rescue.

Bandit

Next is our pal Riley. He is a Merle Sheltie. Riley likes to talk when he's running. He always has something to say to somebody! Sometimes, he wants his privacy and he stays behind a sheet in his crate so he can get some shuteye. He has a brother named Duncan who looks a lot like him. But, Duncan is bigger. Duncan is going to make his agility debut soon.

Riley

Our last pal we are introducing today is Deeva. She is a rescue, too. Deeva has really blue eyes like a huskey, and markings of a Border Collie. She's an all American dog like me. She was taking a breather from her crate and was showing us one of her imitations of a frog. Deeva is also learning flyball with us. She has a younger brother named Duffy who competes. He is a black and white Sheltie. He just wasn't competing that day. (There are sooo many shelties in our area. Remember our friends Willow and Simba that we mentioned in our last post? BOL)

Deeva

We have a lot of fun when we are all together. Our hoomans are always yacking, too. But, the really funny thing is they are always yacking about how they will forget the course they are supposed to run. They never do, except my mom.... She's forgetful sometimes, and then, Katie, Sam, and I have to save her butt!!

Our absence.... explained and UNCOVERED.

Hello Bloggerland,

First, we must apologize for our unintended absence from our blog and our pals. Our mother has not relinquished her computer in quite some time due to her impossible employers. You see, this is the busiest time of year for our mother's job and, even though she works at home, she was tied to her desk and would not leave her computer from early in the morning until late in the evening.

The girls and I had to devise a plan. We had our general meeting of the day to review alternatives and plans on how to regain control of a computer. After all, we had missed Butchy and Snicker's skating party and all the camaraderie of our pals. Something had to be done, and quickly!

Zorra scratched and scratched her head to try to come up with an idea so we could blog and visit our friends. Unfortunately, she was not able to come up with a good, solid idea to regain control of the computer. She scratched her head and ear so much that she got a crick in her neck and her chin got stuck in that position. Eventually, she had to have her neck massaged so she could lower her head. Silly girl.

Katherine tried a different tactic to come up with an ingenious plan. She tried letting all the blood rush to her head. She normally can think of the most devious of plans. But, she only got a bit lightheaded for her efforts. I was more than willing to string her up by her toes, but she and Zorra outvoted me on that suggestion. (They wouldn't know a good idea if it came up and slapped them on their heads).

I felt that I would undoubtedly have to come up with a plan. I donned a disguise and went outside the house and looked in the office window where my mother was tapping away on the computer. Oh, my mother was oblivious. She could not see me at all in my stealth disguise as I peered over the window sill.

Katherine provided an excellent diversion by squeaking every toy she possibly could so our mother would not inadvertently look out the window (even though I was magnificently clad and no one could see me at all).

Zorra was worried that if we got caught in our espionage, that Santa Paws would not visit us so close to Christmas. Katherine assured her that Santa would NOT know, and everything would be ok. Zorra didn't seem to be too convinced. She was mumbling something about "Mommi being mad if we were up after bedtime." Oh PISH POSH. We need to BLOG!! I told her if she wasn't with us, she was against us and THAT would make Santa Paws mad. Oh, I did have a small twinge of remorse for telling her that garbage, but we are in desperate straits here!

AS I watched through the window, I saw our opening. I saw our mother YAWN! Ah, yes.... Mother doesn't sleep as much as we do. We will only need to wait for her to go to bed and fall asleep. I crept back into the house, unnoticed. Katherine, Zorra and I decided to get a few winks of sleep, but our sleep was fitful as we tried to slightly stay alert in case our mother yawned again and went to bed without our knowledge. Soon, it was very dark.

I decided to take the direct approach. "Oh Mother, the girls and I are certainly sleepy..... Mother, are you sleepy yet? You look sleepy. Look at me. Oh, I am soooo very, very tired. I think we ALL should go to bed now. Don't you, mother?" "You are looking a bit, shall we say, HORRID. YOU NEED SLEEP."

Look Mother, this is how you go to sleep. You lay down and shut your eyes. Seee.... Don't mind that we are staring at you. We just want you to close your eyes and relax. There's no need to worry. None, whatsoever. We are not up to anything. We are just concerned about your health and mental focus. We are being good puppies so that we can get pawsents from Santa Paws.

Soon, Zorra went and sat right next to Mother. Katherine laid down by her feet and our mother started getting very warm and yawning more and more. I think our plan may be working. Mother is starting to get tired. Then, we heard the magic words that normally spreads dread through our souls. "Kids, it is time for beddy-bye." I believe she was so tired that she did not even realize that we rushed to our beds and immediately laid down without any whining or sorry, unhappy looks.

Katherine and I sent Zorra in with our mother as a lookout. She will cry or moan if Mother gets up to come back to the computer. Then, Katherine and I flipped a coin over who would get the job of blogging this evening. And, well, I guess you know who won. Moi.

We do want to thank alllll our friends for the wonderful Christmas cards that we have received. They are all beautiful and we love each and every one. We certainly will try wrestle the computer more from our mother. After all, we are addicted and MUST BLOG.
