Rapping up some bizziness and a blatant request

Hi every doggie,

Asta up over tagged us for this fun reveal. We had to think about it for a while, but we finally came up with some good answers.....

You have to tag 3 other kitties, beans, woofies, or any other assorted animal.

What three things would you do that you have never done before, if you knew you wouldn't get caught, get in trouble, or suffer any consequences.

1. Katie - I would go everywhere with Mom, including all stores, houses, just to see what she does when she's not with me (especially restaurants so I could get all that good food!!)

2. Zorra - I would get on Mommi's desk while she is working so I could be extra close to her so she could pet me whenever she wants.

3. Sam - Oh, I would take over the world. Things would run more more effectively if I were in charge!!!!

That was a lot of fun to do. Now, we would like to tag.... Mitch and Maggie, Lorenza and our new pals over at It's a Berner-ful Life!

Now, I'd like to ask all my friendses to vote for my photo by clicking here. My mommi loves this photo cuz I look like a cover dog. BOL. We were in TN at the Smokey Mountains.

Sam is just about in Arizona to help Joe and Gussie with the pawty. We are going to pack for Aire Ruby. We will see many of you soon! And, others.. you never know when we may stop by anyway!

Whew...

Hi Kids,

We finally made it home from Malaysia and we really had a great time! Right after we got home, we had to go to agility practice and flyball practice. We have some trials coming up and wanted to practice as much as we can.` Well, Mom does. She's need remedial help on remember the courses.

Boy, did Mom get in trouble for Zorra's sloppy turns in Flyball Practice. BOL!! It is ALWAYS funny when Mom gets in trouble, since she says we are all troublemakers. Of course, Auntie didn't think Zorra had such a sloppy turn the other night when she got the zoomies in the house and used Auntie as a launching board. Auntie kept yelling.. I'M NOT A FLYBALL BOX!!!! BOL! BOL! In Flyball, the "perfect turn" is a swimmer's turn. Zorra was doing perfect swimmer's turns off of Auntie's legs and body.

We certainly are getting excited about the Super Bowl Pawty that Gussie and Joe Stains are having. We need to pack our bags and get ready to go. We don't want to miss our flight on Aire Ruby.

Sam has already left in the VW to go help Gussie and Joe with the pawty.

Visit to Amber, Chloe and Faith's house

Hi Everydoggie,

Sorry we haven't posted, but we have been on a journey over to Amber, Chloe, and Faith's house. Amber has invited us several times, and with Zorra tricking out Sam's VW, we knew that we had to visit those girls right away. We also wanted to congratulate Chloe in person for becoming Miss K9 Malaysia Champion 2008!

First, we had to plan the trip and load it up in the GPS unit. It gave us a path to follow, and it looked like this.

Zorra is one smart cookie. She figured out how to power the VW with a solar fuel cell and using hydrogen, so we didn't have to purchase any petrol, or emit any pollution into the air, (other than Sam's natural odors Peeeeeeee UUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!)

So, Sam found that Zorra also installed an autopilot, so we could rest on the long trip.

Amber didn't know we were coming so soon, and we sort of scared them when we pulled up outside where they live. Amber came to meet us dressed like this:

Whew!! Good thing that Chloe and Faith recognized us right off! We would have been clobbered over the head!!

I am not sure the girls knew what to think of Sam. He can get a little out of control sometimes. It looks like they are ready to gang up on him. BOL.

We posed with Amber and Chloe behind all their trophies. We hope that we will have some one day. IT was very nice of them to share with us.

Sam took everyone for a ride in the VW and they all had a great time. We can't wait to see them again at the Super Bowl Party!

Test Drive

Hi Everybloggie,

We are going to take a roadtrip in the modified VW. I had a lot of fun making it. And, there are a lot of surpises that Katie and Sam don't even know about. Anyway, now we can just go anywhere we want to.

I did a lot of work to the inside too. Here we are just chillin'. We can sit here and watch tv or movies, snack and drink pawtinis.

I was really tired and just fell asleep on those nice, leather seats.

I have installed a GPS unit on the VW, so we will be able to find anything that we want. I cannot wait to go to our first destination.

Mystery.....

We have a mystery here. We received the VW via a car service earlier today and Zorra immediately took it. When I went to the garage to see what she was doing, I was greeted with this:

I thought I was going to have to call upon Jackson for his assistance, or even Joe Stains. But, he's busy running for VP.

I decided I had to solve this mystery on my own. Katherine had no desire to help. so, I donned my stealth suit, yet again...

I heard hammering, sawing, welding, etc. But, drat, she had soaped up all the window so I could not see in!!

Then, everything got deathly quiet. As I was peeking around the corner of the building, I heard an EXCUSE ME!!!!! And, I was thrown to the ground. Oh drat, caught!!!! Zorra was not happy with my spying. Then, she said the peculiar thing.. Oh, come on in the garage. And, what did I see but this::

She had transformed my VW into a multi-purpose vehicle!!!!!! I cannot wait to try it out.

The weekend

Hi bloggies,

We don't have much to report for the weekend. We went to our agility practice and we all did really well. Mommi ran Sam on a leash so he couldn't run all over the place wifout her. BOL.

She tried to tell him that it would be in his best interest to listen to her just a little when they are running together. By the end of the morning, I think Sam was just appeasing her and would follow her around a little bit. Mommi was happy about that.

We went wif our Auntie and our cuzin Cal, and they did great. Calvin hasn't been doing agility all that long, and he was really goin like an agility dog. Auntie was really prowd of him.

We have a couple of agility trials next month, so we are practicin really hard. I want to do a good job and get a couple of qualifyin runs.

Today, we went to the DWB chat, and that was a lot of fun to talk to a few of our pals and make new ones!

It was so cold this weekend that I mostly stayed under the covers. I buried myself way down in the blankies so I wouldn't get too cold. I told Mommi that I wanted a sleepin bag lik Joe Stains, and she said she would think about it.

Our mom was reading things on Maggie and Mitch's blog about matching up with a dog. Her list consisted of:

1. Doberman (OMD.... they are big!)
2. Tibetan Mastiff (ANOTHER big dog? WTH is going on?)
3. ROTTIE (OK... something is DEFINITELY going on)
4. Pitbull (??!! All these are GUARD DOGS. I thought I was a good guard dog?)
5. FOX TERRIER (now I know this is rigged!!!)

Katie came in as #15 on the list. Do you know where I CAME IN?? #79!!! Beagle mixes!!

OK, I am going to go talk to my mommie about this. I am not sure I like these results. I know we ALL are rescues, but she better not bring any of these other dogs around wifout MY permission. Besides, Katie would be mad, too.

Don't tell Sammie that he out ranked both ME and KATIE. He is already hard enough to live wif.

Freezing Friday

Hi Bloggies,

We are getting ready to hunker down for the big freeze that may come this weekend. Zorra is already dug into her blankets and says she's not coming out until SPRING! Sam and I don't mind the cold all that much, but I'm sure my mom will make me wear that stupid coat when we go out, since it is supposed to be way below zero.

We received a great award from Jake and JH, The Bark A Lot Boyz and we are truly honored. They seem to believe we are thinkers. Well, I know that I am.... not too sure about the others. BOL!!!

Here are the rules attached to this award:
1. You must write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think.
2. Acknowledge this post.
3. Optional: Proudly display the 'Thinking Blogger Award' with a link to the post that you wrote.
4. Go tell your humans to fork over the treats and attention!

We are awarding this to

1. Cricket, Sparky and Ginger for their support and thoughtful wishes on Sam's journey to the Stain Mecca.

2. To Joe Stains for being the Minister of stains and erasing it all from our house and our mom's memory. Since Sam isn't in so much trouble for "staining" all the time, it is a happier world. Enjoy this award again, Joe as you save Sammy's (HBO WORD) butt.

3. To Peanut and Flash for helping us keep the soldiers in our thoughts.

4. To Amber because we are hoping to come see you on one of our trips once we get the VW back from JFK.

5. To Hammer for always keeping the faith that his brother will be found!

Tomorrow, we are braving the weather with our cousin Calvin to go practice agility. We hope we don't freeze our (HBO word) butts off. BOL. My mom is gonna get me for using these words, but I think its funny!! She always says those words when its (HBO word) cold!

Back Home again....

Hello Everyone!

Ah, I am back home again and thanks to Minister of Stains, my mother has forgotten about my previous stains. Also, she doesn't even seem to remember that I was missing for a few days. Of course, I will have to retrieve the VW at some point, as it is parked near JFK and we are in Indiana.

Nevertheless, I arrived back at home just in time for the agility trial. There was a photographer there this weekend, and he managed to get a few photos of us. Unfortunately, our video camera has decided not to cooperate and we were not able to get any video at this time.

Zorra did a marvelous job taking first place in every one of her runs on Saturday. Here is a snap of her that the photographer put together as a special photo from Mother. Zorra is always VERY determined. All I can say is that photographer took these photos very fast.

Here I am climbing the A-Frame. Oh, how I do love to be up higher than everyone else so I can look down on them. It is so enjoyable.

Katie did very well this weekend, too. She took first place a couple of times and was very excited to get back into agility after a brief sabbatical. Mother loved this photo of her coming out of the tunnel. She ran so fast in the tunnels that she banked off the site like a Nascar. (BTW, Nascar season starts next month).

Even though Mother was no longer upset with my stains, it appears that I was rather "distracted" when I was running. After all, I can plot much better courses than my mother. She's a bit daft. I had a lot, and I mean A LOT of fun running around doing my own thing.

Everyone seemingly was amazed when I ran. (Katie editing here: They were LAUGHING because he was running around like an idiot!!) I was so happy to bring joy to all those dog/human teams. In fact, one lady came up to shake my mother's hand and said something about "having courage to run a WFT." I am not sure what that meant, as I should have been congratulated for putting up with my Mother!

At some point, my Mother MUST have forgotten the rules of the game, as she left my leash and collar on while we ran! She didn't do this for Katie and Zorra, so I know it was a mistake!

Once my mother dropped the leash when I went through the tire or the tunnel, I avoided her at all costs and ran, again, a much better course. But, the "judge" (and I use that term loosely, as how can anyone even possibly judge how well I am running) would step on my leash as I zoomed by. Then, the lady would say "Oh, I understand WFTs and how you think." And, my mother would run up right after and pick me up and take me off the course with my leash dragging. I was secretly hoping that she would trip on the leash and I could run around again. These people just don't understand my vision of agility!! They shouldn't fight it, as I will win. I will get to run how I want to run and not be boxed in by their limited imaginations!!

STAIN MECCA

I hopped on the plane to AZ to visit Joe Stains and Tanner. At this point, only Joe Stains can help me with my problem.

The Stain Mecca was easy to find.....I just went to Arizona and asked every dog I met "Do you know where the Stain Mecca is?" Yea, go see Joe Stains. He can help you.

So off I went, and would you know I found his house right away. I knocked on the door, as I was uncertain how to approach the such a sacred site. And, Tanner said he would have to go see if Joe Stains was available.

I got a bit nervous when Tanner went into the sacred sleeping bag. I heard some grumbling and HBO words, and I thought for certain that I would make a stain in the STAIN MECCA. After a while, out came Minister Stains......

Minister Stains said that he could absolve me of any stains that may or MAY NOT (most likely) have been caused by me. And, not only that, with his power it also absovled me of any FUTURE stains. WHEW. This trip has been worth it.

Minister Stains started his procedure to help me out.....

I started to feel a bit dizzy and felt I was traveling through time.....

But, once I came back to my senses..... I knew that all stains that I had been admonished for were gone!

Ahh, I felt so much lighter. I also asked him to use another power of his that my Mother will forget that she is upset with me for leaving. No problem, he said. Poof... He said your mom won't even remember you EVER made a STAIN.

My problems were solved. So, I hung around with Joe Stains and Tanner and watched the Colts get whopped. :( But, you can't have everything when you just got a pardon from all the stains in your life.

Then, I remembered!! I had to get my a@@ on home, as I have an agility trial!! Oh, I hope Joe Stains is right and my Mother has forgiven me. After all, I am really cute when I want to be!! I ran off yelling thanks again to catch the next plane home. I think I can make it to the trial in time!!

Boston and the NE

Whew....

I am still on a whirlwind tour trying to find the Stain Mecca. My trip took me to Boston to visit Archie and Agatha. They know about stains. We started digging for the Stain Mecca.....

Then, all of the sudden, Agatha bopped both Archie and me on the head and said... the STAIN MECCA is NOT in Boston! You need to go see Joe Stains, silly.

And, here is my response....

So, it is set. I must go see Joe Stains. But, while I am in the Northeast, I should visit some of my friends here. Agatha, Archie and I all hopped into the VW and went to go see Maggie and Mitch.

We had a terrier tea party and it was so much fun. I was so glad to put the bark to the faces, as they say. We played and sniffed until wee morning hours. But, unfortunately, we had to call it an evening and I took Agatha and Archie back to Boston. I needed to plan my trip. I decided that I should just fly to Joe Stains house at this point. So, off to NYC, I headed. I could just get a round trip ticket and come back for the VW later.

On the way to NYC, I thought that I should just stop in and visit Asta. I stopped at the Statue of Liberty, which was quite exciting for me.

I met some nice people on the subway.....

I was walking down Asta's street, and there she was waiting on me...

It was so nice to meet Asta and she showed me around her neighborhood. We had a lot of fun window shopping, reading pee mail, sniffing. But, my plan to the Stain Mecca was leaving soon and I had to hurry to JFK.

I cannot believe what good friends I have made and how nice they all have been on my journey. Now, off to the plane....

Zorra's turn

Hi everybloggie,

I wanted to blog for a while today. we had some things to take care of, and I wanted to show you a photo of one of our bestest buddies here in Indiana.

This is Rocky and he was dressed up real good for the Flyball party the other day. Don't he look just sooo very hammysome? Rocky always has a big smile on his face and is always happy to see everybody, even when Katie barks at him when he gets too close to her.

Our great buddy Marvin gave us this Best Friends award. We are so very, very honeredered by this. We have made so many great friends here in such a short time that we just cannot believe how lucky we are. We would like to pass this award on to Clover because we just think she is the cutest and we always smile when we go to her blog.

Blue gave us the following award. It's to be awarded to 'people whose blog brings you happiness & inspiration and makes you feel happy about Blogland' Once again, that is everyone. But, after we thought and thought, want to give it to everyone. But, we decided who we should acknowledge with this award. We would like to give it to Amber, A and A, and our very first friend on bloggerland, Jackson

On an additional topick. We received a peemail from the Bark A Lot boyz. It seems that that old egret never made it back to Florida after Sammie caught it. Sammie trusted that old bird to go back on his own, by putting that bow around his beak and the sign on his back. Katie and I think that old bird gave Sam the slip. So, WE are going to go look for that sneaky bird! After all, WFTs are not known for their bird-dogginess. They chase varmits. Katie is a bird dog and I am a beagle/foxhound. I can sniff out anything.

Here we are ready to get started. Katie is visualizing that egret in her mind. I am just ready to get started!

Katie and I traveled down to start the search near Tennessee. We have contacts down there who spotted that wayward egret. Katie has sniffed out a spot where that egret landed to take a break....

I am sniffing around and I am definitely on that egret's trail. We have to help out Jake and J.H. get their fish payment back and they need a ride to the Super puppy bowl party!!

We are on the job.... Katie, drive that way. I think we are hot on that egret's trail!!!

My trip continued

Lorenza and I have had a great time. She has shown me so many sites in Mexico, and I have had a little too much fun from drinking margaritas! After exploring Mexico, I did not find the Stain Mecca. I feel that I have gone further away from it. I think I had better head back to the States. I snapped this photo of Sweet Lorenza before I left. I was so sad to leave, and I offered her an invitation to come stay with my sisters and me any time she wished.

I hopped back into the VW and noticed that I had a message on my cellphone from my mother. She was wondering where I had went off to, and I had better call home soon.

I started the VW north back to the States. I was listening to my IPOD and not really paying much attention before I realized that I was at Four Corners. This is where Arizona, Colorado, Utah and New Mexico all join together. I had a lot of fun standing with each paw in a different state. I enjoyed speaking with the Native Americans there and I did some meditation along some of the mesas. I was sure that I was EXTREMELY close to the Stain Mecca, and was trying to feel which way to go.

I got back into the VW and followed my instincts......

Before I knew it, I was in Louisiana! So, I stopped by to catch up with Peanut and Flash. They took me for a ride in their truck and here we are getting out for some ice cream! We had a grand time chasing each other in their yard, chasing their kitty family and playing with their humans. Unfortunately, I remembered that I was supposed to be looking for the Stain Mecca. Darn it all, I had to leave.

I realized that Nascar season is starting next month! I wanted to go to the World Headquarters of Nascar, so I headed for North Carolina. Then, I remembered that my little friendzee Lacy Lulu lived there and I found her house right away. I enjoyed hanging out with her and we had a lot of fun sitting in her yard and talking.

Now, I feel that I am really far away from the Stain Mecca. I need som advice. I know where I shall stop next. I'll go check out A & A. They know about stains. So, it is off to Boston! Hang on. I am pushing the pedal to the metal!

MY TURN!!

Hi bloggieees,

I am taking over the blog today. We just receivd a pee-mail from Sam. He is living it up in Mexico with Lorenza. I'm still at a loss as to how he got a car and the money to go down there. HMMMMMMMM.

Anyway, I have temporarily blocked his Blogger access. HEE HEE.

Zorra and I had a great time this past weekend practicing agility, AND, on Sunday we got to go to a FLYBALL Party. And, not only that, we are now associate members of the team so we can tell Sam to bug OFF. (He hasn't started training yet).

The flyball party was a Christmas party with the other members of the team. We had a gift grab bag exchange and Mom got me a GREAT squeeky toy. We had so much fun.

We also brought the Flyball box home to practice, so maybe Mom can get off her tush and film us!

Our really great little pal Lacy LuLu gave us this award. Thanks so much! We have made so many great buddies on here in such a short time. We just love going to everyone's blog and learning about our new friends. We're sending this off to our pal River, and all our other pals. We love you all and love everyone's stories.

Day 3 and 4

Hello Bloggerland,

I apologize profusely for not posting recently, but I am on the "lam," shall we say. My internet connection has been intermittent on my travels as of late.

After some R&R with my Texan friends, I felt I should get moving on to the Stain Mecca. They all said, "dude, you are close to Mexico. Go down there and lay low until your mom forgets about all your stains. I hopped in the VW, and off I went. I wasn't really reading the signs well, and even though I thought I was in Mexico, it was actually NEW Mexico. Then, I read the sign that said Welcome to New Mexico, Land of Enchantment. Well, last time I was "enchanted" I was at that tea cup agility trial and everyone (but me) was totally daft. I immediately tried to find my way out of that place.

In rummaging through the VW's glove box, I found a map that was recommended to me by Tanner, Joe Stains little brother. What was I thinking. I am not a whiz at Geography, I have realized. Everyone was saying I should go south to to Mexico to see Lorenza. I thought that was a splendid idea. However, on looking at Tanner's map, Mexico was not listed, and instead there was Hawaii.

I realized too late that Tanner's map was inaccurate. I ended up in rush hour at the bottom of the sea.

While I was in the traffic jam, I received an urgent Pee Mail from Katherine who immediately told me that I could NOT be at the bottom of the sea, since Hawaii is NOT to the south of the United States. I told her, well.. how come I have a photo of ME on the beach in Hawaii? I had just finished a delightful Pawhomma Pawma, and I am savoring the last bit on my nose! Stupid Toller.

Then, Zorra pee-mailed me a more ACCURATE map, and I realized that I was NOT in Mexico. So, I packed up the VW, and went back the way I came and finally ended up going the correct direction and arrived unscathed in Mexico.

After a while, I found Lorenza, and here is her photo when I told her about how I arrived at her house via Hawaii.

I am having a great time in Mexico with Lorenza. She is a very kind hostess and is showing me all the sites. Maybe we will come across the Stain Mecca. I am not sure I am so close to it now. However, I do think it is some place warm.

Day 2 of my journey

Hello Bloggerland,

I am still on my journey to the Stain Mecca. I received a few messages from my pals to join them until my mother comes to her senses. I also received a message from Jake and JH to look for that wayward egret. So, I thought... Why not kill 2 birds with one stone, so to speak. I know if I were an egret, I would go somewhere warm, and since many of my friends live in Texas, I would head that way.

Just as I was leaving Iowa, I spied the old egret. It was flying toward the Corn Palace!!! Why this egret would continue to fly north, is beyond me, but nevertheless, I was going to get that egret and return him to Florida!!

I followed him to South Dakota, then Lincoln Nebraska, then Dodge City, Kansas. Then, that dirty old bird headed straight for Oklahoma. I knew that Good Old Tell, Glynn and Cap would help me get that old bird. I mean, they have chickens! Certainly they could catch an egret? We tried to catch that egret, but we couldn't. I even looked in the flower pot. I sort of got stuck, as you can see by the photo.

THEN, that bird flew straight up in the air and headed South. So, I bid my pals adieu and jumped in the VW. The journey as is follows.

I finally caught up to that old bird in Houston, TX. I tricked him with more fish. I put a bow around his mouth and sent him back to Florida with strict instructions. I hope he doesn't get lost in shipping?

After all that, I need to take a rest. Currently, I am hanging out with Cricket, Sparky and Ginger in the back of their dad's truck. Maybe they can help me find the Stain Mecca. I think I am getting closer?
